Leave a Legacy
Leaving a gift in your will can transform the lives of women and children who are homeless in Cork.
After you have provided for your loved ones, your will can give vital support to the most vulnerable citizens of Cork and by helping us to break the cycle of homelessness, your gift will have a lasting impact for generations to come.
Leaving a legacy to Good Shepherd Cork, means leaving a sum of money, or a gift of property to us in your will. Every legacy counts, no matter how large or small.
Legacy giving takes four different forms:
- A residuary bequest: whereby you make provisions for your loved ones first, then leave the remainder, or part of the remainder of your estate to as your legacy to Good Shepherd Cork.
- A pecuniary bequest: Whereby you state in your will that a specific sum of money will be left to Good Shepherd Cork.
- A codicil: This is a new clause inserted into a will that you have already made.
- A specific gift: Whereby you leave a specific item to Good Shepherd Cork.
If you are considering making a will you should contact your solicitor or find a solicitor who can undertake this service for you.
