Miriam De Barra, Chair, Good Shepherd Cork: “Throughout her career Allison has worked to promote the rights of women and the empowerment of vulnerable and marginalised groups. We are extremely pleased that such an experienced leader is taking on the role of Chief Executive.  We welcome Allison to Good Shepherd Cork and we wish her every success in her new role.”

Allison Aldred, Chief Executive, Good Shepherd Cork: “I am delighted to have this opportunity to lead Good Shepherd Cork – an organisation with a decades-long commitment to fully valuing all women and children. In my career in the international development sector I have seen that positive social change comes about when individuals feel valued and come to recognise their own power – to change themselves and the situation around them and, by working with others, wider society. The mission of Good Shepherd Cork is to support women and children who are vulnerable to homelessness to live more fulfilled and self-sufficient lives. I am looking forward to working with Good Shepherd Cork to be part of this change.”
